We did a fun mermaid photoshoot for Justine’s birthday with some of her best friends. It was great to make mermaid dreams come true and have them experience life in a tail! We had a really bright sunny day and got some great shots of them on the beach. Being “with tail” is not always easy and getting about on land can be a little challenging, but I guess that’s all part of being a mermaid!
We provided a bottle of Prosecco which definitely relaxed everyone and added to the giggles. We weren’t swimming today as the sea was too rough and not everyone was comfortable with the swimming requirements, so we had drinkies instead.
Some of our mermaids brought their own tops to go with their tails, which was a great idea and gave them their own unique look.
We presented Justine with a beautiful shell pendant, handmade by myself, and a personalised birthday card.
Unfortunately Justine was expecting Petrichor to do a mermaid swim and meet and greet which wasn’t mentioned previously, so I felt a bit sad that it didn’t have all the components she wished for. If you would like to see Petrichor swim or hang out with you please let us know beforehand so we can arrange that. I have been trying to focus on the birthday person and not be centre stage these days… although any excuse Petrichor would love to join you!
