A while back we did a lively children’s party for Amelia, age 6. It was a dry land party at home, so we did an arts and crafts session where everyone made a mermaid picture and a piece of jewellery. We helped the little ones fashion a bracelet from elasticated cord and an assortment of beads. After the craft session was done we headed to the rear of the garden where we had our beachy backdrop set up for some tropical mermaid photos. The kids had fun dressing up in the tails and matching tops and having some group and individual photos.
Contending with the wind was a bit of a challenge at times, but lots of fun was had by all. Our pirate made the kids giggle and they especially loved stealing his hat at the end!!
